Through a Glass Darkly: A Year in Review and Thoughts for the Future in the Context of COVID-19
Course description
As the COVID-19 pandemic emerged in the U.S. in early 2020, our healthcare system found itself tested in ways that it had never been before. Frontline workers battled to keep their patients and themselves safe, while normal processes and operations were significantly disrupted. Join us on December 9, 2020, for a “year in review” as healthcare futurist Jamie Orlikoff discusses the causes and implications of the U.S. healthcare system’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the resultant liabilities for physicians. Mr. Orlikoff will review the lessons learned so far – and where we can go from here to better navigate the evolving crisis and persevere through these challenging times.
