Handling Conflict with Teamwork in Mind
Course description
Do you find yourself surprised by conflict? Are you unsure how to handle it and protect your team when it arises? This webinar will take you through several leadership tools to utilize when teamwork breaks down because of unresolved conflict. This interactive hour will create discussion around how to use the issues at hand to drive the team forward and how to use the Concerned, Uncomfortable, Safety (CUS) tool to redirect the team toward problem solving.
Learning objectives
At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify common types of conflict within healthcare settings
- Identify at least two techniques to encourage and include all voices on the team
- Summarize the “CUS” tool to approach conflict
