Course Description
This activity, is a live debate where speakers on “market-based solutions” and “single-payer solutions” will be given equal time to address the implications of market-based and single-payer solutions for cost efficiency, choice, coverage/access to care, quality of care and professional satisfaction. This program will improve the competence of learners at advocating for good policy by giving them the knowledge they need to understand both sides of the current debate about health care reform. If learners are more inclined towards one side or the other, it will give them better insight into the other side of the debate.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to:
- Describe the implications of market-based solutions for cost efficiency, choice, coverage/access to care, quality of care and professional satisfaction
