Course description

COVID-19 has led to many unique challenges. Physicians need to be productive while also managing home responsibilities. Trying to be productive comes with a new set of difficulties to balance during this pandemic. We will discuss some tips on how to try to find equilibrium. 

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to: 

  1. Discuss work-life balance/integration
  2. Identify how to work towards a balance; and
  3. Curate responsibilities and say “no” when necessary.

Shikha Jain, MD

Dr. Jain is a board-certified hematology and oncology physician. She is an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Hematology, Oncology and Cell Therapy at Rush University Medical Center. She is Director of Media for the Rush University Cancer Center.  Dr. Jain was named one of Modern Healthcare's Top 25 Emerging Leaders in 2019, and was also awarded the Rising Star award by the LEAD Oncology Conference in 2019.  She is the Director of Communications and Community Engagement and Co-Founder of the COVID19 Action group IMPACT and the chair and co-founder of the Women in Medicine Summit.
