ISMIE’s annual Risk Management Symposium will bring together six extraordinary speakers to offer unparalleled insights and practical advice from the cutting edge of patient safety and risk management.

This year we will be hosting the event completely online and holding it over three days, with topics such as risk management case studies, burnout and resilience, and more!

Learning objectives

At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  • Summarize potential medical professional liability and patient safety risks related to the ongoing changes in healthcare
  • Describe how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the healthcare industry and the delivery of care, and the lessons that can be drawn from these changes
  • Identify practical risk mitigation strategies to navigate the evolving trends in medicine
