Course description

Advance care planning is important for patients, but not discussed often enough. This program, developed by ISMS’s Legal Services Department along with Julie Goldstein, M.D., will describe the different tools available to patients in planning for their advance care, what happens if a patient hasn’t made a determination at a time when they can no longer make decisions for themselves, and strategies for communicating with your patients early on and in a way that empowers them to really consider their future care.
